Remote Online Notary (RON)

New York now allows remote online notary services covering notarizations around the world via media and electronic devices.

How New York Remote Online Notarization works

  • Email Your Document: Submit your fully completed document in PDF format, leaving only the signature, date, and notary sections blank.

  • Schedule an Appointment: Choose a convenient time for your session.

  • Verify Your Identity: Included in the appointment email invite, there is a link to complete the required identity verification prior to the signing appointment using a valid photo ID, including credential analysis and identity proofing.

  • Connect with a Notary: Meet with a New York State notary online via State-approved secure audio-video technology.

  • Electronic Signing: The notary will witness the signer execute the document with a digital signature in real-time. After signing electronically using our online software from a computer, tablet, or mobile device, the document is electronically transmitted to the notary to notarize.

  • Receive Your Document: The signer will get the notarized document electronically in PDF format minutes after the appointment. The entire process is digital, requiring no paper records or ink signatures.

You will need to send your documents via email to preferredsigningsolutions@gmail.com.

I will then upload the documents to the RON platform BlueNotary and set up a Zoom session to have the documents signed.
